Sleep & Stress Reset Program

Rest more deeply. Have more energy.

If you are exhausted but still can’t settle, this program is designed for you. It is for adults 40+ who feel wired at night, drained during the day, and stuck in the cycle of poor sleep, rising stress, and uneven energy.

The Sleep & Stress Reset Program supports people dealing with patterns such as:

  • Trouble falling asleep

  • Waking between 2 and 4 a.m.

  • Light, restless, or interrupted sleep

  • Fatigue that lingers even after a full night in bed

  • Stress that sits in the body and never fully turns off

  • Irritability, overthinking, or tension that worsens at night

  • Sleep disruption connected with pain, hormonal change, or general overload

A more intentional path than… “just try to relax

Many people who come in for this kind of care have already tried some combination of supplements, better sleep habits, magnesium, meditation apps, or pushing through fatigue. Sometimes those help a little. Sometimes they do not touch the deeper pattern.

This program offers a more structured approach to calming the nervous system, improving sleep quality, and rebuilding resilience over time. Rather than treating sleep as a stand-alone problem, we look at the larger picture: stress load, daily energy, pain, digestion, cycle or menopause transition, and the way your system is handling recovery.

I use acupuncture and, when appropriate, Chinese herbal medicine to help shift the internal pattern that keeps you tired but unable to fully rest. Research and clinical sources describe acupuncture as a non-drug approach that may improve sleep quality, reduce night waking, ease anxiety, and support relaxation, often as part of a broader treatment plan.

How I work

Care is individualized, but most patients begin with regular visits so we can create momentum and start to shift the cycle of stress, poor sleep, and fatigue. From there, treatment is adjusted based on your response, symptoms, and overall health picture.

Depending on your needs, treatment may include:

  • Acupuncture

  • Electrical stimulation acupuncture when clinically appropriate

  • Chinese herbal medicine

  • Ear points or related supportive techniques

  • Guidance around patterns that may be aggravating sleep and recovery

The goal is to help your body settle more reliably, wake less often, recover more fully, and move through the day with steadier energy.

Who is this program for?

This program may be a good fit if you:

  • Feel tired all the time but still have trouble falling or staying asleep,

  • Wake in the middle of the night and cannot fully settle back down,

  • Notice that stress, anxiety, or hormonal shifts are affecting your sleep,

  • Feel depleted, frazzled, or overstimulated,

  • Want a non-drug, whole-body approach that can work alongside your medical care?

What to expect

Most people start with weekly treatment for a period of time, then we reassess based on how sleep, energy, and stress patterns are shifting. Some patients need shorter-term support during a particularly difficult stretch. Others benefit from longer care, especially when sleep issues are tied to burnout, menopause transition, grief, caregiving strain, or chronic health concerns.

The aim is to help you move out of survival mode and into a steadier baseline, with more restorative sleep, a calmer nervous system, and better recovery capacity.

Why work with me for sleep and stress?

In addition to my acupuncture and internal medicine training, I completed specialized doctoral-level study in classical Chinese herbal medicine (Jing Fang). Jing Fang is a style of classical herbalism based on the Shang Han Lun, a foundational Chinese medical text from the Han dynasty, using time-tested prescription families that have been refined in clinical practice for nearly two thousand years.

In practice, I draw from both modern TCM formulas and custom classical Jing Fang prescriptions, choosing the approach that best fits your pattern and diagnosis rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all remedy. Over the years, I have used herbs together with acupuncture to help patients with complex, layered presentations—such as long-standing insomnia connected with stress, hormonal shifts, digestion issues, or chronic pain—when a single modality on its own was not enough.

This combined approach allows us to work at both the level of immediate symptom relief and the deeper constitutional pattern underneath it. If you’d like the fuller version of my background and training, including my doctoral work and movement history, you can visit my About page; the reviews on this page will also give you a sense of how patients experience this combined acupuncture-and-herbal approach in real life.
